PUBLISHER'S
COMMENTS
The better Bible students have
long treasured the works of George Henry Lang. They have been loaned and
borrowed since the early part of this century with great value in Bible
study.
Their value has increased to the
point that the Lord has burdened the Publisher to once again make
available this searching exposition of G. H. Lang. Prayerfully, we
continue the task of reprinting the long list of valuable books,
pamphlets, and studies that emanated from the talented and God-blessed
pen of Mr. Lang.
It is entirely possible that our
collection of all of Mr. Lang’s works is not complete. We are trying
to compile all of his articles and especially his letters. It may be
that you can loan us your copy for insertion in these future works. Your
participation is invited in this worthy venture.
It was said of Mr. Lang by M.
Collier that . . . "Two courageous men were born in 1874; Churchill
and G. H. Lang. He was never called before kings or judges, but he was
that rarity — a man who taught what he really believed, and lived by
what he taught regardless of consequences. This simple courage was to
him but simple common sense. God was his father, and father’s wisdom
is always good. I commend the idea to us all. It saves a lot of
heartaches if you refuse to look at the hazards, and look simply to God…"
